If you choose to add insurance to your bike rental, you are entitled to the following coverage and services. Without insurance, you are fully responsible for all incidents and receive no technical assistance, no replacement bike, and no coverage for damage.

Insurance coverage

Coverage up to €500 for eligible damage to the rented bicycle, subject to the franchise and exclusions below.

Franchise

A €50 franchise fee applies to all damage claims. You must pay the first €50 of any damage, even if the total repair cost is below the coverage amount.

Coverage applies to

Damage to the rented bike (within the €500 limit and after the franchise)
One inner tube for a flat tire

Exclusions (not covered by insurance)

Theft
Additional flat tires or tubes beyond the one covered
Any damage exceeding the €500 coverage limit
Intentional or negligent damage
Additional rented items and accessories (for example GPS, radar, pedals, power meters, or similar add-ons): only the bicycle itself is covered; extras you rent are not insured under this policy

Technical Support – Only With Insurance

If your bike experiences technical issues during the rental period, the following support is provided:

Bike Replacement (if available)
Repair by Technician
Pickup or Taxi Refund to return to our office

Without Insurance, You Are Fully Responsible

No coverage or assistance is provided for: damage, flat tires, breakdowns, transportation.
